This painting is from my imagination but a scene that was derived from the landscape along Barry Road in Ottawa County, Michigan. It is also the basis for my first U Tube Video demonstration. I love this scene and it is an excellent example of my direct method of painting on dry paper essentially in one pass. I do have to do some dry brushing at the finish but this painting represents how much I love to let the paper be the palette where pigments are allowed to mingle and merge all on their own.
